Yes. Eligible solar and battery products can be financed together under a Home Energy Saver loan, up to the $15,000 loan limit, provided the products and applicant meet the program requirements.
This can be useful if you are planning your solar and battery as one complete home energy system rather than adding them separately later.
Can I use the Home Energy Saver loan just for a battery?
Yes. Eligible battery storage can be financed through the Home Energy Saver loan without installing new solar at the same time.

What happens if my solar and battery system costs more than $15,000?
The Home Energy Saver loan provides eligible NSW households with up to $15,000 in zero-interest, no-fee finance. A Home Energy Saver loan and Brighte Green Loan can sometimes be used together, but they must finance different products. For example, the Home Energy Saver loan could finance an eligible battery while a Green Loan finances the solar system, or the Home Energy Saver loan could finance eligible solar and battery costs while a Green Loan finances an EV charger. Both loans are subject to their respective eligibility and approval requirements.
